Beauty & Glamour Make-up @ Keylight
Keylight Studios (Raymond Latonio) invited me to do beauty and glamour make-up on four models for a Photographer Workshop last April 4, 2009.
I only have photos of three models. The fourth was a Nude Photography Workshop model. Not sure when I'm going to get her photos.
Anyway, here are samples of the photos taken by participating photographers. More photos on http://mymakeupstudio.multiply.com/.

Center for Aesthetics Studies
I took my first formal training in 2005 and received a certificate in Basic Make-up Artistry from ICI Training Center - the school now known as the Center for Aesthetics Studies (CAS).
The program lasted for about two months; 48 hours of intensive training. My mentor, Ms. Jennie Delica, not only taught me about make-up application but she also emphasized on discipline and respect for the craft.
When I enrolled in ICI (or CAS), my goal was to equip myself with the tools to efficiently train my beauty consultants in make-up application. I was then working as a Brand Manager for two cosmetics brands. However, at the end of the program, I was able to answer the question that I have been asking myself for a while: What do I really want to do? It became clear to me that my calling was to become a make-up artist.
Aside from Basic Make-up, the Center for Aesthetics Studies also offers the following certificate programs: Hair Science, Hair Cutting, Hair Color, Nail Color and Depilation as well as a Diploma Course in Cosmetology. Moreover, their curriculum is TESDA-registered. For more information about CAS, go to http://www.isdanco.org/cas/index.html.
Here are some samples of my work during our photo shoot at the end of the program.

Gadgets in 2005
Some of my earlier projects were with Gadgets Magazine. I was still Brand Manager for Elizabeth Arden (Fragrances, Skincare, Cosmetics). Gadgets got Elizabeth Arden to sponsor make-up for the magazine and I had the opportunity to do make-up for their cover and editorial.
Models for the July 2005 issue were Hawaiian Tropic girls Jocelyn Oxlade and Faith Amigo.
Models for the September/October 2005 issue were Angel Locsin (who was very young then) and Matteo Guidicelli.

Introduction to Theater Make-up
Introduction to Theater Make-up was part of the Module 2: Advance Beauty, Photography and High Fashion Make-up curriculum at the Philippine educational arm of Make-up For Ever - Maquillage Professionnel.
Two days were allotted for the subject. On the first day, we tackled Aging Make-up and we discussed Character Make-up on Day 2.
Here's my ever-patient model, Jo-Anne, as Lola and Kuting. Plus a photo of her and Valentina (by Kay Rodriguez).
